Breathe. Many of our clients are first-time models (yes, those same people you see looking awesome in the galleries) and we specialize in directing and posing you. We'll also help you find your best angles, and our hair and make-up teams enjoy blowing our clients minds everyday.

Good question. First, we shoot in a real studio — not in a garage or the photographer's house. Second, you'll be working with an entire team of professional stylists. Third, our work is published in several major magazines every month, so you know we're legit.

Look at our galleries! Do you see the diversity of our clients? Does ANYONE look bad? If you don't see someone on this site whose skin color closely matches yours, then congratulations — you're our first alien!

You can tan, but please try to avoid splotchy spray-tans. We can lighten or darken you in the retouching phase, but blending uneven hands and feet is very difficult. The most important thing is that your skin color is relatively even.

We have many sets available in our studio, please check out the galleries for ideas. We can also rent unique furniture and props for your shoot (budget providing.) If you see something in a magazine that you like, show it to us, and we'll help you make it happen!

Photographer Nick Saglimbeni typically books 3-5 weeks in advance, so please plan ahead. However, if you need to book sooner, give us a call, as we occasionally have cancellations.

Absolutely. If you've got a great location, let us know. Many of our shoots take place off-site.

We only work with the best. All of our artists work with us regularly, and have been published many times over in numerous magazines. If you like a particular photo on our site, tell us, and we can get you the same hair and make-up team.

Do you see anyone on our site that doesn't look fantastic? Slickforce is proud to have the most diverse client base of any studio in the country. As a result, our make-up artists excel at working with different skin-tones. As always, feel free to bring examples of what you like as a reference.

Go ahead, try and scare us. Our hair stylists are extremely versatile, and can work with any kind of extensions, braids, wigs, bangs, highlights, natural curls, and anything else you can throw at them.

Many of our clients want to put in extensions for a photoshoot. Because of the time-consuming nature of this process, we recommend you get them put in at least a day or two before the shoot. We have amazing extension specialists that we can refer you to. Call us for details.

Absolutely. Though we must admit that all of the models in our galleries were made up by our fantastic artists, so we highly recommend using Slickforce artists.

It's up to you. But if you really think that every 19-year-old celebrity doesn't invest in amazing hair and make-up, think again.

Yes, we have amazing wardrobe stylists available. You can add them to your shoot, just like hair and make-up. Costs vary depending on what clothing you need them to supply. Call for details.

Yes. Often, you will know what you are comfortable in better than anyone else. Many of our models bring their own wardrobe. You can also mix-and-match with the stylist for maximum versatility!

You can shoot as many different looks as you like, time providing. Keep in mind that if we shoot 2 looks, you get much more time to play and get things perfect, whereas if we shoot 10 looks, we will have to move very quickly and you may feel rushed. The number of actual photos depends on the length of your shoot. However, because of our "unlimited photos" policy, most clients leave with between 200-500 shots.

You will shoot a minimum of five looks, designed to maximize the range in your portfolio. Some of the looks will include Commercial Modeling Shots, Pin-up Glamour, and High-end Magazine-style Glamour. Shortly after registration, you will recieve a detailed description of what to bring and how to prepare for each look.

You should bring your wardrobe for the headshot and commercial modeling looks, since they are casual looks designed to showcase the real you. The wardrobe stylist will bring lingerie and swimwear looks for your two glamour shoots, however, anytime you shoot, you should always bring some of your favorite backup options, just in case. The stylist will call you 1-2 weeks before your Kamp to get your sizes and preferences, as well as answer any questions you may have.

None. ModelKamp was designed with all expereince levels in mind, and our skilled staff will literally coach you on everything from posing and facial expressions to wardrobe choices and retouching.

ModelKamp consists of 3 days. The first day includes Orientation, a panel of industry Guest Speakers, and your wardrobe fitting for the upcoming shoot days. The second day is a studio shoot at SlickforceStudio. The third day is an advanced high-end magazine style shoot, shot on location (transportation is provided).

The shoot days are designed to reflect actual industry magazine and video shoots. The length of a shoot day is typically between 9-12 hours. Many factors can affect the shoot schedule, such as hair and make-up time, transportation, weather, and model shooting order. We encourage you to get lots of rest before your shoots, but ModelKamp will also teach you to focus under pressure.

Let's put it this way: First, we introduce you to the biggest-name cover models in the glamour business (Vida Guerra, Brittany Dailey, etc.) Then, we introduce you to actual magazine publishers (Sean Cummings, SHOW Magazine Publisher/CEO). Finally, you'll shoot photos with the same photographers that shoot most of the pictures that you've ripped out and secretly been studying. You get to ask all these people any questions you want. In short, we give you the keys to the kingdom. But it's up to you to make the most of it, and ask the right questions.

Yes, and about half of the models actually do for ModelKamp. Let us know if you want to have extensions put in, and we will put you in touch with one of our hair specialists. You will discuss pricing and hair type with them directly. (NOTE: Hair extension pricing is not included in the ModelKamp registration price. You will incur an additional charge.) Then, you will have to meet the stylist a day or two before the Kamp begins, so if you are traveling you will need to fly out a few days earlier.

Ok, breathe. First, we have payment plans. Second, you have to realize that ModelKamp is for people who are serious about taking their careers to the next level. We are the people the style, shoot, retouch, direct, and produce the magazines you want to get into. There are many photographers on ModelMayhem who will take your pictures for free, but you need to ask yourself if they can give you the tools you need to move your career forward. Remember that becoming a successful model is about more than having photos. It's about having the information that gives you the edge on your competition (and the amazing photos don't hurt, either.) We have a fantastic referral program for ModelKamp. For each person you refer (they must actually register and attend the Kamp.), you receive $200. This can be paid in a check or used as a credit for any SlickforceStudio service or product. They must mention your name upon registering for ModelKamp.

While ModelKamp clients receive 5 retouched shots free, you may order as many additonal shots as you like. Retouching prices are based on volume, and ModelKamp graduates receive additional discounts.

You will shoot one look each day with Nick himself, and then 1-2 additional looks with SlickforceStudio's Associate Photographers, who have been personally trained by Nick. In short, you will leave with at least 5 looks, all shot by SlickforceStudio's world-class photographers.

11 feet in the highest places, 8 feet in the lowest. There are exposed sprinkler pipes. Set/Backdrop walls higher than 8 feet probably will not work in here.

The total square footage is 6000 sq. ft., which includes the green room, offices, equipment rooms, reception area and shooting space. The actual shooting space (open area) is approximately 3600 sq. ft. The shooting area measures approximately 40’ by 60’ with columns in the center.

Included in the base rental are the main shooting space, the hair/make-up area, all existing electrical power and Wi-Fi internet access. There are many props, chairs, lighting equipment, backgrounds, fabrics, seamless papers, gels and expendables available a la carte. The green room is also available for an additional rate, although it is intended as a staging room for talent. Shooting and eating are NEVER allowed in the green room unless previously approved.

There are 120 amps available in the studio. If the A/C and fans are used, there are about 80 amps available. Strobes (photo lights) are no problem, while hot light setups should be mapped out to ensure ample power..

Maybe! While we are not an agency of any kind, our network of magazine clients is vast. We often submit models to magazines as a courtesy. This privilege is reserved exclusively for Slickforce clients, so please do not ask until after you have completed your shoot.

Due to the extremely tight scheduling of our shoots, and as a courtesy to our high-profile team of stylists and artists, all deposits are completely and totally non-refundable. If you do not show for your shoot, your deposit will be used to pay the crew.
