“The only way progress really occurs is if someone is willing to push the boundaries of what is deemed possible or sensible. Nick Saglimbeni is one of those people.”
—Jon Severs, Print Week
In 2004, Nick Saglimbeni opened SlickforceStudio. Clients quickly responded to the innovative and cinematic nature of Nick’s photography, and Slickforce soon became one of the hottest studios in Los Angeles. In 2009, after less than only 5 years as a magazine photographer, Nick photographed his 100th cover. That same year, Slickforce was awarded the Blackberry Business Award for the development of signature retouching techniques.
As his success grew exponentially, Nick enlisted the talents of other artists to expand the company’s collective resources. Together, Team Slickforce uses groundbreaking technology to perfect their clients’ images and develops state-of-the-art instruction tools to help other artists succeed.
With innovation always the mission core, SlickforceStudio launched the first magazine entirely photographed and designed in 3D — WMB 3D: World’s Most Beautiful. The team’s photography and retouching advancements in 3D won several prestigious awards, including Grand Prize at the Sony World Photography Awards, with a collection of the award-winning images exhibited at the distinguished Somerset House in London.
Highly sought after, Nick Saglimbeni and SlickforceStudio have photographed commercial campaigns for companies such as 20th Century Fox, Sony Music, Skechers, Neiman Marcus, GQ, Kardashian Kollection, Wacom, and many more. His work has been featured on The View, Larry King Live, The Huffington Post, Keeping up with Kardashians, E! News, and countless others.
